Peace Silk: Unlike conventional silk Ahimsa Silk or Peace Silk waits until the moth matures and emerges naturally from the cocoon. Our Scarves use 100% Tussar Silk in production. Tussar silk is cooler than the other varieties of silk as it is a lot more porous therefore breathable. It is light airy and comfortable. The silk from this Natural fibre is readily biodegradable after serving its full lifecycle and thus has low environmental impact. Unique Design: Blockprinted on Peace Silk by India-based Aeshaane our scarf recreates the iconic Madras Check using blockprinting as a technique and is handmade at Aeshaane's in-house workshop in a small village in Bengal.Small Batch Production: The fabric for each piece is printed after an order is placed to reduce wastage and while cutting and tailoring our team looks at ensuring zero wastage.
