Tonlé was a Cambodia-based fashion brand founded by Rachel Faller in 2013, dedicated to creating zero-waste, fair-trade clothing. The brand sourced surplus fabric discarded by larger manufacturers, transforming it into stylish garments and accessories, ensuring that no material went to waste. Tonlé's commitment to sustainability was evident in its innovative design process, which incorporated every scrap of fabric, and its dedication to providing fair wages and a secure working environment for its employees. By 2018, Tonlé had saved approximately 930,000 pounds of carbon emissions from entering the atmosphere and conserved about 53 million gallons of water. In 2025, Tonlé announced the permanent closure of its business, citing financial challenges and systemic issues within the industry.
