Why buy Silk Dresses?

Silk is a natural protein fibre spun by silkworms. It is light, strong for its weight and naturally temperature-regulating, which is why a silk dress feels cool in summer and comfortable under a layer in winter. Conventional silk is harvested by boiling the cocoons; peace or ahimsa silk lets the moth leave the cocoon first, and some brands use recycled or deadstock silk.
