Product details
We join Ève and Arnaud of ODA Paris in presenting an edit of rare mid-century pieces for the home. They began as a vintage home goods vendor at one of France’s most respected Flea Markets Marché Paul Bert in Saint-Ouen. Now the duo seeks to create atmospheres and find objects that recollect a juxtaposition of contexts spaces and elements evoking emotion and fostering new memories.
Created in the 1980s at the Societa Italiana Ceramiche (SIC) in Casale Monferrato Italy these vases were inspired by Ettore Sottsass’s postmodern Memphis movement. Reminiscent of the decade’s architecture the shapes are simple totemic and geometric. The red and black colors are powerful while the purity of the lines give it a contrasting elegance.
Height: 10.5”
