100% sustainable crafted from natural jute that grows in abundance as a weed on marginalised land in Bangladesh. This jute macrame bag is handcrafted by women living in remote rural villages in southern Bangladesh. These women work from their homes in between caring for their families and traditionally tending the land. They are paid directly for their work empowering them within their own society.
