Mainio is a Finnish fashion brand founded in 2014, specializing in sustainable children's clothing. Mainio emphasizes the use of ethical and ecological materials, such as GOTS-certified organic cotton and mulesing-free merino wool, and collaborates with factories that uphold fair labor practices and environmental responsibility. Their commitment to sustainability is further demonstrated through initiatives like the Mainio x Pure Waste collection, made entirely from recycled materials, and their partnership with Ninyes to offer customers an easy way to recycle used garments. In 2020, nearly 100% of the cotton used in their products was GOTS certified organic cotton, and 89.2% of their products were made from GOTS certified organic cotton and merino wool.
