Why buy Tencel T-Shirts?
Tencel lyocell is a fibre made from wood pulp in a closed-loop process that recovers the solvent. A Tencel T-shirt feels noticeably smoother and cooler than a cotton one, drapes rather than clings, and keeps its colour well. Because lyocell absorbs moisture and breathes, it is a good choice for hot days and for layering, and many brands blend it with organic cotton for a familiar feel with a softer finish. Wash at 30 degrees, inside out, and dry on a hanger: tumble drying can make the surface fuzzy over time.
