Eyre Cardigan

This is our classic Mira crew cardigan made in Donegal Merino wool. We are delighted to have this special wool in our collection this year. Slightly sturdier than the other Merino yarn we have used it is also much warmer. We love the flecks of colour that run through the yarn which make each piece of knitwear unique. The cardigan is a deep teal colour with flecks of moss and mid green.
The cardigan can be worn buttoned up or left open. It features a round neck drop shoulders and is finished with black imitation corozo buttons as well as two practical front pockets – perfect for keeping your belongings or keeping your hands warm.
The Donegal Merino is a multi-hued yarn composed of a base blend of up to seven colours with an additional seven or eight colours of solid flecks visible on the yarn’s surface. Donegal wool is made from a soft sleeker Merino wool which has a naturally low lanolin content. It is soft resistant to pilling and has excellent longevity (learn more about the wool we use and its qualities here).
