RÆBURN has undertaken a meticulous deconstruction process of race-worn Formula 1 Nomex® suits from Lewis Hamilton George Russell and their mechanics as well as Peeler suits worn by civil responders and police. Each garment has been carefully disassembled and reimagined to create this unique style the Mercedes-AMG F1 x PUMA x RÆBURN Masterpiece Anorak.The fabric of this anorak is a combination of Mercedes drivers' race suits and Peeler suits providing a blend of durability and functionality. The lining features deadstock Nomex from Puma. Additionally jersey from the base layers is strategically incorporated to enhance movement particularly across the back and elbows.Drawing inspiration from Peeler suits the anorak features original details such as a half placket and patch pockets relocated to the lower body for practicality. An action back design includes a concealed jersey base layer insert under pleats at the armholes while pleats on the sleeves with jersey inserts allow better elbow movement. Cuffs from the race suits add a distinctive touch complemented by Petronas Green stripes throughout. Practical elements include Velcro closures on the front left pocket and back alongside a two-way Riri zip front. Each anorak is produced in a limited quantity of 5 units marked with a story label detailing the materials used and the collaborative journey behind this exclusive collection. An internal pocket on the left side provides additional utility.RÆMADE items have been created by taking existing surplus materials products and artefacts and reworking them into completely new products. As a result of this upcycling process no two RÆMADE products are identical and may include some inherent faults and/or characteristics of the original materials products and artefacts used to make them.
