Saffron open cardigan made in soft mohair wool. This unique handknitted cardigan features intricate lace stitching front and back. A beautiful warm layering piece. The yarn is hand-spun hand-dyed and made from non-mulesed wool a resilient yarn that softens and adapts over time. Easy cut. Boxy shape. Raglan sleeves. Wide ribbed collar. Ribbed cuffs and hem. Each of our handknits are individually knitted by the ladies we work with in Nepal. Made in small runs every garment takes a week to be knitted. To reflect the personal quality of these knits and the care and skills that have been invested we have included the signature of the knitter on the label. As requested by you our hand-knits now come with a skein of matching yarn. This way you can darn your knit if necessary. A wonderful way to extend the life of a garment and reduce waste.
