An exquisite piece of modern heritage the Penrith Collection is true British luxury tweed made from pedigree North England Bluefaced Leicester wool plant-dyed in Yorkshire and woven and finished in Scotland.
Exceptionally soft - the breed is known as the 'cashmere of British wool'. 
Proudly made from soil to skin in the U.K our knitwear is born of a unique narrative rooted in its place of origin. 
Wool - made entirely within a 150-mile radius of the farms where the sheep are reared in Northern England reflecting the brand’s hyper-local soil-to-skin approach. Every fleece is sourced directly from a trusted collective of pedigree breeders across Lancashire Yorkshire Cumbria and Northumberland who are paid well above the market rate for their wool. This ensures a sustainable mutually beneficial supply chain from field to HERD’s fabric.
Washing - Wool requires minimal washing. Spot clean and air or hand wash in cool water if absolutely necessary to preserve the natural oils in the wool.
