First introduced in the early 20th Century as the 'bar' shoe due to a signature strap across the top of the foot - the Mary Jane adopted it's current name from a female character in the Buster Brown comic strip.
A style of shoe typically made from leather or patent leather. So this season we introduced our take on another classic. Arriving with our hand-painted then digitally-rendered and printed cherry across the insole and toe.
