Weston Ribbed Jumper

Taking inspiration from a fisherman jumper this is a classic round crewneck ribbed jumper. It has a fisherman ribbed knit all over and raglan sleeves. Knitted from a warm wool spun in Donegal Ireland it will keep you warm without feeling too bulky or heavy. Originally created for fishermen going out in wet windy conditions at sea a true fisherman’s rib jumper needs almost double the yarn of a plain knit jumper of the same size making it extra warm when the weather closes in.
Made from Donegal Merino yarn a distinctive flecked multi-hued yarn that makes eachjumper unique. It has a base blend of up to seven colours featuring additional coloured solid flecks visible on the yarn’s surface. Donegal yarn is spun from a soft sleeker Merino wool with a naturally low lanolin content making it soft on the skin resistant to pilling and durable (learn more about the wool we use and its qualities here). This jumper is a deep teal colour with flecks of moss and mid-green.
