Tencel lyocell is made from wood pulp, using a closed-loop process in which the solvent is recovered and reused. For dresses its main strength is the drape: the fabric falls softly and moves with you, with a slight sheen that looks smarter than cotton. It is breathable and absorbs moisture, so it stays comfortable on warm days, and it creases less than linen. You'll find everything from simple slip and shirt dresses to midi and maxi styles.
