Mashu is a London-based accessories label founded in 2017 by Greek designer Ioanna Topouzoglou, specializing in vegan handbags that seamlessly blend contemporary design with sustainable practices. Drawing inspiration from Art Deco interiors and Cycladic architecture, Mashu's distinctive aesthetic is characterized by bold, sculptural silhouettes and unique handles crafted from repurposed wood offcuts from local Greek furniture factories. The brand is committed to environmental responsibility, utilizing innovative, low-impact materials such as apple, corn, and pineapple waste, as well as recycled polyester and organic cotton, to create high-quality, cruelty-free products. By collaborating with local artisans in Greece, Mashu supports traditional craftsmanship while minimizing its carbon footprint, ensuring that each piece is both ethically produced and environmentally conscious.
