Why buy Hemp Boots?
Hemp makes a strong, durable canvas: the plant grows quickly, needs relatively little water and rarely needs pesticides. In shoes it is mostly used for the upper, in trainers, espadrilles and casual lace-ups, often paired with natural or recycled rubber soles and cork or recycled insoles. Hemp canvas is breathable, holds its shape and wears in rather than out, and it is a vegan alternative to leather. Brush off dirt when dry and spot clean with mild soap; check whether the sole can be replaced to keep a pair going for longer.
