For sweatshirts, hoodies and jumpers, cotton is usually knitted into loopback or brushed fleece, which is warm and soft while staying breathable, or into finer knits for jumpers and turtlenecks. Heavier fabrics hold their shape and last longer. Wash inside out at 30 degrees and dry flat or on a line to avoid shrinking and pilling.
